The Motif Pattern was created using Photoshop. The color scheme used in the piece is split complementary. The initials in the background were filled with color, and then blurred in order for them to appear farther away. The initials were then enlarged, and only the outline was kept, and is seen in white above. The K from the initials was enlarged, and then given the gradient effect to add interest to the piece. The piece has pattern. The piece is interesting because although the same initials are used, they are broken up by added elements including flowers, and they are also enlarged and rotated. To add more interest to the piece, different flowers could be used, instead of the same one being rotated.
